For more than a decade, Lisa has cared for patients in some of Ontario’s busiest emergency departments, including McMaster Children’s Hospital, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, and Hamilton General Hospital.

She has stood beside children, adults, and families during some of the most overwhelming moments of their lives — when answers were unclear, emotions were high, and they simply needed someone they could trust. In those moments, care meant more than medical expertise. It meant compassion, reassurance, and knowing someone was truly in their corner.
